15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki is the brainchild of grown-up game maker Takahiro and anime character creator Kuroda Kazuya. The name is a pleasantry on the Japanese title (15 Shounen Hyouryuuki) for Two Years’ Vacation, a youngsters’ experience story by Jules Verne. Toei Animation adjusted 15 Shounen Hyouryuuki into a 1982 film, and Nippon Animation changed the story into a 1987 TV unique.
Like the first story and its two anime changes during the 1980s, the new 15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki project focuses on 15 youthful understudies who are abandoned on an abandoned Pacific island by a turbulent tempest. In contrast to the past renditions, 15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki will include 15 young ladies rather than 15 young men.
