Story:
I was a newcomer assigned to the Cheat Item Management Bureau—Victim Recovery Department. Our division is tasked with the delicate duty of protecting and rehabilitating victims ravaged by supernatural cheat items—mind control, time manipulation, and other devastating abilities.
My first assignment led me to an abandoned apartment complex, a site that was supposed to be completely deserted. Instead, I found women who had been broken, violated, and toyed with time and again by these malevolent powers. My mandate was clear: nurse them back to health, wipe their memories, and reintegrate them into society.
Then, one day, my senior left me with a chilling directive: “You can handle the rest by yourself.”
